I am still here

Just wanted everyone to know that I am still here. My Internet is not working properly and has not been now for over a month. The only Internet company we have out here in the woods has set a target date of being fixed for June 5th, 2011 but, they did not guarantee that date.  The speed I am getting is slower than dial up. The company is having to update all equipment.  The problem is that so many people are subscribing to Netflix for the basic monthly fee to watch movies instantly and my phone company is providing boxes for 5 dollars a month for people to hook up to their TVs so they can watch movies instantly on their TV's. Of course, unless you have one of the newer TVs that your computer will plug into. It is more affordable for people to do this than subscribe to expensive cable TV. The end result is that with so many people watching instant movies from Netflix it is draining the system slowing down the Internet speed. I cannot load pictures, watch videos on YouTube or Facebook and most of the time surfing the Internet is annoying because it takes so long for a page to load. I have so many pictures to share but will have to wait till Internet is fixed. I love living so far out but we are at the end of the line for updated and current status Internet updates.  I am on Facebook and do check in daily.

I have a new puppy and what a joy.  Tulip is doing great. She is a little over 3 months now and is a very happy little goat.  My garden is doing wonderful this year and about ready to start harvest some things.
